Respect for the Property

The work area belongs to someone else.

Professional exterior maintenance can place technicians, equipment, ropes, hoses, tools, materials, and work zones throughout areas people use every day.

Entrances. Walkways. Rooftops. Balconies. Landscaping. Parking areas. Public spaces.

While we may be there to work on the building, the property still belongs to the people who own, manage, live in, work in, and use it.

We believe that this concept of property care should influence how the work is done.

Protect What's Around the Work

A project should solve a problem without creating another. Before and during the work, we consider the areas surrounding it and what may need protection.

Depending on the project, that can include:

- Landscaping

- Windows and building finishes

- Roof surfaces

- Balconies and patios

- Vehicles

- Entrances and walkways

- Resident or tenant property

- Public areas

- Adjacent work areas

Good planning involves thinking beyond the immediate task and incorporating environmental responsibility in our approach.

Keep Work Areas Organized

An organized work area is easier to manage, more understandable, and less disruptive to those nearby.

Equipment and materials should be placed intentionally rather than scattered wherever they're convenient. Access routes should remain usable where possible, and work zones should be clearly managed.

Tools, ropes, hoses, materials, and debris must not create unnecessary hazards or disruptions. Organization is not just about aesthetics; it's part of controlling the work efficiently.

Minimize the Footprint

Different access methods have varying impacts on a property. Rope access can sometimes reduce the amount of equipment needed at ground level. In other cases, an aerial lift, suspended system, or another access method may be more appropriate.

We don’t believe one method is automatically superior; the goal is to evaluate the building, the work, the people around it, and the operational impact when determining the best approach to a project.

Where disruption can reasonably be minimized without compromising the work or safety, we believe it should be.

Clean Up Matters

A project isn’t complete simply when the technical work is finished. Materials must be removed, equipment accounted for, and debris cleaned up.

Work areas need to be left in appropriate condition, and anything affected by the project should be addressed before we pack up and leave. The condition we leave behind is part of our professional exterior maintenance.

Treat It Like It Matters

Professionalism isn’t only evident in the finished window, repaired joint, cleaned surface, or completed inspection. It's also reflected in everything surrounding the work.

How equipment was handled, whether someone’s property was protected, whether the work area was controlled, whether unnecessary disruption was avoided, and what the place looked like when we departed all contribute to our commitment to property care.

We’re here to maintain the property, not to create another maintenance issue.
